2021 wrap up

Hi everyone

Hope you’re all safe and well as we head into 2022 and yet another Covid-19 adventure. Progress continues on the documentary with Brett Aplin (composer) delivering a large portion of our music before Christmas and I couldn’t be happier. The feel the film has on screen has been elevated yet again and I cant wait to begin work on the full sound design that will accompany it.

But there is a snag. You’ll remember we’ve been pricing some 300 archival and licensed music pieces that I’ve used in the edit. It’s taken most of 2021 to achieve this and the final price tag is significant. So we have a perfectly presentable film (admittedly without its final polish) that we cant show commercially anywhere until we raise more money; or I remove all the costly clips and finish it sooner. It’s another irritating delay but one I believe will be well worth the effort. We’ve come this far. I’d rather not compromise now.

In the meantime I’ve been doing a little work to the website and added a gallery page made up of Jo and my happy snaps depicting the ten year adventure so far. Brouse at your leisure.
