When I started this project in 2012, I really didn't know what it would be. I simply felt compelled to capture as much of a world that I loved being a part of and that I saw disappearing rapidly. Two years in I reconnected with my film school buddy, Joanne Donahoe-Beckwith and together we continued recording the deeply passionate world of the film preservationist. Somewhere during that time the project evolved into a fully formed, feature length documentary spanning three continents.
Here are some of my musings along the way.
